Chapter 37 A Death and a Big Surprise

 

I want to begin this chapter with a picture of my dad. Leo has aged up to an elder already!

Darryl will sometimes stop by to visit with his daughter Violet. I will allow that. I think it's important for the two of them to maintain a good relationship despite the difficulties between her parents.

He sometimes tries the old charm on me, but I am on to him. There is no way we will ever be together again.

So many in the family are starting to get old. Christy, Roger's wife, is an elder now. As is Dominique and even my dad, Leo. 

It's Octoberfest. The house is decorated. I'm having the family over to celebrate.

Shaina chose this time to age up to an elder. If I'd known I would have baked a cake for her.

I am very happy today. I feel as if my life is back on track and going just the way I want it to go.

Just as the event ended, Christy died from old age. I tried to plead with the grim reaper to spare her just a little more time, but he would have none of that. He had come to reap her soul and that he did. I was able to return her urn to the main Berri home, and she is laid to rest beside her husband Roger in the family cemetery.

I've been going out more lately with friends and have been fortunate to meet and make new friends. That is Alberto, one of my teen crushes. He is a young adult now and I would consider him a friend still though we are not the closest ever. In case you're wondering what I'm drinking it is a root beer float. My favorite drink!

I have the uncanny ability to discern all 3 traits of someone I have just introduced myself to. I guess, low key, I am looking for that elusive one who has a neat trait. The idea of one day getting married is still there, but I am taking my time. I want to do it right this time when I commit to a relationship.

It has been so much fun having Violet and being a parent. I am so into this parenting lifestyle and the idea of having a large family is becoming very appealing to me.

Myra and I had a very deep conversation. This may seem strange to some of you, but I asked Myra if she would be open to having a science baby with me. She is such a good friend (and a neat one too!) and I was a little nervous to ask her. She was fine with having a science baby with me!

Myra Duff. She has agreed to giving me her DNA so I could have a science baby. 

And this is the very unexpected result of having a science baby with Myra. Twins! A boy and a girl. I have named the boy Tyrian and girl's name is Baborka.

Violet meeting her new siblings. She is smiling but she is also upset about having siblings. Maybe just one would have been okay with her?

It was nice that Myra took an interest and wanted to meet the twins.

Mom and Dad invited me to meet them at the Love Festival. I agreed because as I previously mentioned, I am low key keeping my eyes open for that special someone. No luck tonight, however.

When I arrived home from the festival, Charles was walking past. He and I are pretty good friends. He's a little different and doesn't talk a lot about himself. I do know that he is neat, and he is single.

I also know that Charles is an alien. He did some alien thing to me. What was he doing? Trying to read my mind? It's a little weird and I'm just not sure how I feel about that. A strange thing is he often seems to show up near my home. Does he live nearby? I'm not sure.

Little Tyrian and Baborka will be aging up soon to infants. Violet is soon to age up to a school aged child. Where does the time go so quickly?

This is the house. It is still considered a small home, but I am wondering if I need to expand it larger. The twins are going to be aging up any time.
