What better way to begin this post than to show my adorable little daughter Violet. She is already a toddler and growing up so fast.
Things with Darryl have remained the same. He does have his moments though. The cute ones with Violet sometimes make me question what I need to do.
Things just aren't working out between the two of us. I can no longer tolerate his possessiveness, his jealousy and his overall angry disposition. I don't need this type of energy in my life.
I tried to be kind. I really don't want to hurt him but my idea of what a family involves seems quite different from his. Finally, after all this time, Darryl and I have broken up. This time for good. I realize we have a daughter between us and I won't deprive him or Violet of the relationship they have with each other.
Darryl has decided to move out and back into his family home. Financially he is doing very well. His family has money and lots of it (they won the lottery. really!)
Violet is really too young to realize what has happened. She knows her daddy won't be here as often as before but seems content with the fact she will still be seeing him.
I went to visit with Dominique and Kaydence and the family. I saw my friend Charles Benton walking by when I arrived there.
We chatted a bit. I confided in him about Darryl and I breaking up. He seemed genuinely concerned and was very sweet.
A fun night out with family. I feel as if my life is coming back together and I am so much happier!
While at the library doing some research, I noticed the librarian closely about doing busy work. I was getting a vibe from her. I introduced myself to her. It seems I was getting a neat vibe from her! She is also unflirty.
Reading to Violet. I will be trying to max out the family-oriented and parenting traits.
I invited Myra over for dinner. She is very down to earth and easy going. She even joined me while cooking our dinner.
