Minor changes have been made to the main house. With all the recent changes, Amber needed a room of her own here.
We have been trying to get the family together every weekend if at all possible. Though the weather was a bit dreary, we met at the park to get caught up on what is going on in each other's lives.
It went very well, though our erratic brother Roger decided to shower in the light drizzle. Never a dull moment it seems.
Because it began raining harder, we all went back to the apartment. We also wanted to get Roger back into his clothes!
Abraham surprised Cedrina and asked her out on a date. Perhaps he is sensing now she is an elder she will be joining him before too long.

It's already time for Amber to age up to a teenager.
Amber is now a teenager. She is a loner and clumsy...and beautiful!
Amber has the nerd brain aspiration and is constantly soaking up whatever information she comes across. Sometimes hiding in the washroom is the only quiet place to get away and pursue her love of reading. She is a loner and sometimes overwhelmed by this big family that she also loves dearly.
Cedrina is very proud of her granddaughter. They have remained very close.
Cedrina is quite old now and her time will soon come to an end.
Realizing her time to depart is near, Cedrina came to the decision to finally retire from the job she loved. She wants to spend her final days with family before joining Abraham in the afterlife.
Rosalie has aged up to a full-fledged adult.
Amber has been working hard on her woodworking, creating objects and increasing her handiness skill. At the moment she is in need of some medicine for her illness. Her dad stopped by to see her and gave her the news that her stepmother, Bess, had died of old age.
Amber is obsessed with space and is often found tracking comets and searching the skies for other life. Her grandmother has assured her they are out there and watching. She finds it all so fascinating.

The day finally came when Cedrina finally passed away...sort of.
Although no one thought to plead for her life, Grimm took it upon himself to give Cedrina a little extra time. Whatever the reason we were happy to have a little more time with our beloved mother and grandmother.
Soon after, Cedrina went peacefully and slipped into the afterlife, joining her husband Abraham. Maybe she didn't want to die in the presence of her family. We will never know. Cedrina lived a long and very happy life. She had four children and one grandchild at the time of her death.
