My Sims Challenges: Chapter 12 Birthdays and Moving

Today is Amber's birthday. I invited the family over as well as invited Amber's dad Brett. I wasn't sure if he would come or not, but he did!

Amber has aged up and will begin grade school on Monday. Everyone seemed happy that her dad, Brett, made it to her party.

Brett and I took a picture together as Amber had been wanting a more updated one.

There are to be some big changes to the family. Both Roger and my sister Dominique are dying to experience living in the city, so I have agreed to move with Amber back into the family home. They will be moving into this apartment. This will be our last night in the apartment before the big switch. We will miss it, but Amber is excited to be moving in with her grandma.

Amber has settled right in and is very happy with the recent change in her life. She can see her grandma any time she wishes, which is often.

It is winter here...and cold. It's good to be back into my childhood home.

My little sister Shaina is a teenager. She is the youngest of the four of us.

Brett has made an effort to be a much bigger part of Amber's life. I am very happy about this. He and I are getting along very well. He is the stepfather of two older children by his wife Bess. From what I understand, she is a bit older than he.

Amber finally met her stepmother, Bess. She really is old. Even older than Amber's grandmother, I think.

Brett and I shared a New Year's Eve toast. We even shared a little kiss. It started out that way anyway. I must remember he is a married man, and I am married to my job. It was a nice kiss though.
