Violet is already showing a lot of responsibility. She does her homework without being asked. She began her high school years as an A student and wants to keep that up. Her goal is to become a doctor. I support it if that's what she wants, but I did tell her she will need to keep working hard. She also got a job in fast food just for the experience. So, she is a busy girl.
I think it's tough for her at times to get time away from the chaos of having younger siblings and just the day-to-day family matters that need to get done. She wanted to move out on her own, but for now I don't think that's such a good idea.
Our calm little Rusty isn't always so calm. He kept both Charles and me up much of the night. "Charles go to bed! I've got this."
Notice all the items on top of the shelf there? Charles crafted them and I liked them so much I wanted to display them. He could very easily make quite a lot of money selling his creations, but we just don't really need the money. He loves doing it for fun and gifts.
Since my marriage to Charles, and since giving birth to Rusty, the aliens up there have shown quite a bit of interest in me. I was abducted again!
Interesting that I am noticing Darryl jogging past our home much more often lately. He never stops to visit with Violet though. I heard through the grapevine that he finally got married. I'm happy for him. Good luck with that Mrs. Darryl, whoever you are!

Speaking of skills, I have accomplished everything I need to for this generation except for one. I don't have Parenthood installed so will complete the successful lineage aspiration instead. I won't be able to complete it though until one of my children or grandchildren reaches to the top of a career. I will be moving on to generation 5 in the meantime.
Charles' handiness skill is getting quite high, and he's been doing most of the upgrades and fixing of broken appliances lately.

Violet is doing well and still seems driven to keep her grade point up to an A. I realize things are a bit hectic here with 3 siblings running around. Charles and I are considering allowing her to move out into a small home so she can better concentrate on her education. She is planning to go to University and get a degree so she can be a doctor! She will definitely need a different environment for that to happen.

Violet has got us all dancing with her. Even Rusty is bobbing to the tunes!
It was my turn to age up this time. I am a full-blown adult now!
Let's recap this generation's accomplishments:
I mastered singing and athletic skills. I mastered the athletic career and bodybuilding aspiration. I had 3 failed relationships before marrying my wonderful Charles. I am good friends with all my children. I have without fail had at least weekly family nights together. As for parenting... (successful lineage aspiration will be completed when my child or grandchild reaches the top of a career.) So I will be revisiting and completing this generation once this is accomplished. If for some reason Ashley doesn't live to see this, I think I have more than proven she is a good parent and her skills would be maxed.
Looks like we are ready to move on to generation 5. We will revisit this generation in the future to complete the Successful lineage aspiration. Violet has a lot to do in her generation, and she will be going to university. I plan to have her graduate as quickly as possible by taking 12 credits per semester. She will be a busy girl, and I need to concentrate on that now.
