I have been working hard on my parenting skills lately. Fortunately for me, both Baborka and Tyrian are giving me plenty of experience. (Sorry...the names are killing me but I'm sticking with them! Who wouldn't love a Baborka Berri??)
While Violet is able to do much more than her siblings, she also requires a lot of parenting. I enjoy helping her with her homework and making sure she is keeping her grades up. She is a genius and has been talking about wanting to be a doctor when she grows up.
Look who is blowing me a kiss. Charles' initiation of affection has surprised me today.
What is happening here...and right in front of my children. Charles is being very affectionate and loving.
He is so good with all the kids and they all seem to love him. Maybe I should too!
I think Violet and I are competing for Charles' attention sometimes. She is always trying to get him to play chess with her.
It's Winterfest and I have decided to cook dinner for the family this year. I invited them over and thought this would be a good time to introduce Charles to the extended family.
The evening has been a nice time and not awkward at all. Mom and Charles seem to get along well.
He got to meet my dad Leo and sister Alessandra. That story is one I haven't shared with him as yet. How many people can say they cloned themselves and got an exact replica for a sister? Yeah I did that. Dad is still upset with me for that one!
Charles stayed busy cleaning up after everyone which for me was a little annoying...just a little though. (I am a slob.) I can deal with it.
Who is offering Charles a mistletoe kiss?

Charles and I decided to make things a little more official. We are now romantic partners and have an exclusive relationship.
The evening wasn't all about Charles and me. We also ate some good food, had Father Winter visit us and opened presents together. It was such a good day!
