My Sims Challenges: Chapter 29 Ashley Has a Boyfriend

Hello again. Ashley here. My little garden is growing pretty well. It has turned out to be more work than I thought it would be. Let's hope I can make the rent money from the plants I grow.

I was able to get a karaoke machine and I'm really enjoying singing, especially with my friends. This is my friend Blakely Knight.

I have really been wanting to learn to play an instrument. I picked up the guitar and have begun teaching myself to play.

So, there's this guy...his name is Darryl Lee. We met at school and he's stopped by a few times. I kinda like him even though he is a bit of a snob. Mom dropped by one day when he was visiting. While I love mom, this was one day I wish she had called first. Darryl and I were just hanging out and talking, getting to know one another.

Darryl and I had our first kiss together. My first kiss ever. I guess you could say he is my boyfriend. Awkward that mom was there to see that.

At least mom got to meet him, and I am pretty sure she doesn't just hate him (despite appearances!) I'm sure it's hard for her to realize her daughter is growing up.

"Yes mom. I really like him. Don't worry. He is my first boyfriend and nothing is going to happen." I think I made her feel better.

You will not even believe what I was able to harvest at the Romance Festival. Dragonfruits! I can hardly wait to get these seeds planted and growing in my little garden.

Even though mom had told him, I had to tell dad about my new boyfriend. He thought it was pretty cool, but then maybe he has had more time to adjust to the news than mom did. At any rate, it was good to talk with him about grown up things for a change and get his approval.
